How Tajop works

Buying a ticket takes a few minutes, works inside Instagram and WhatsApp, and never needs a password.

How buying works

Pick your tickets on the event page. We hold them for you while you check out, and a real timer shows how long.

Confirm your email with a 6-digit code. That also signs you in, so your tickets land in your account.

Choose how to pay. The organiser decides which ways they accept:

  • Direct transfer: you pay the organiser from your own banking or wallet app, then tell us the transaction ID.
  • Card or wallet checkout: you pay on the organiser's own payment page.
  • Cash at the door: your ticket is reserved and you pay when you arrive.

The price you see is the price you pay. Tajop adds no booking fee.

Pay only to the account shown

For direct transfers, checkout shows a "Pay only to" box with the account title, the account number, the exact amount and a reference code.

Your banking app shows the account title before you confirm. If it shows any other name, stop and tell us.

The amount may be a few rupees less than the ticket price. That's on purpose: it lets the organiser match your payment.

Tajop never asks you to pay in a DM, on WhatsApp or to a different account.

Your ticket

Your ticket lives in My tickets. It works without signal once it has loaded once, so open it before you leave home.

The code changes every 30 seconds, so a screenshot won't get in. Show the live ticket at the door.

If the organiser allows printed tickets, you'll also see a printable version.

Giving a ticket to a friend

Open the ticket and choose Transfer. Enter your friend's email. When they accept, the ticket moves to them and your copy stops working.

Some organisers switch transfers off, for example for named or student tickets.

Refunds

Tajop doesn't hold ticket money, so refunds come from the organiser, under the refund policy on the event page.

If an event is cancelled, the organiser promises a refund date. When they mark it sent, you tap Received or Not received on your order page. Unresolved refunds show on the organiser's public track record.

Signing in

There are no passwords on Tajop. Sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, with Google where your browser allows it, or with a passkey.

You can see your devices and sign out of the others from your account settings.
